The foul air of bad officiating hit critical mass last night during the Bellarmine Prep vs. Moses Lake game. The game was really not pretty.

The Lions won, 65-55, in a game marked by spasms of good basketball but overhwhelmingly effected by officiating that was confusing to say the least. A total of 47 fouls were called, many either wrong or inconsequential and a dozen or so were NOT called that the band  Third Eye Blind could sing anthems about.  If they hadn’t been refereeing a basketball game last night.  The refs admittedly don’t get much love from the coaches, players and fans, but, hey, sometimes they just don’t deserve much.
